It's just a mirror as backup MASTER_SITE, the tarball on main 
MASTER_SITE disappeared since 2004. If you don't agree with this, i 
think we should mark this port as DEPRECATED. But i didn't do this 
because this port is necessary for two other ports.

What you advice me in this case?
