FreeBSD wotsit2.thingy.com 4.8-RELEASE-p29 FreeBSD 4.8-RELEASE-p29 #0: Mon Apr 25 23:31:04 BST 2005 howie at wotsit2.thingy.com:/usr/src/sys/compile/WOTSIT4B i386
>Description:
By default, rrdtool doesn't appear to install the perl modules. This means that the examples that are mentioned in the output of make don't actually work. There doesn't seem to be an option in the port Makefile to make it install the modules either - you need to go into the work directory and run make site-perl-install manually.
>How-To-Repeat:
Type 'make' in /usr/ports/net/rrdtool
>Fix:
Add a new makefile option, or at least make the user aware that there is an option to be had.
