>Description:
print/cmps is currently labelled ignore. It installs the fonts necessary for viewing/printing postscript/MathML files generated with TeX in the directory ${PREFIX}/share/texmf/fonts/type1/. This location was coordinated with the previous TeX maintainer.
The same fonts are installed in %%TEXMFDISTDIR%/fonts/type1/bluesky/cm/ by the print/teTeX-texmf port...
However the fonts in the print/cmps have an important advantage: p5-type1inst is run on them to configure them appropiately for X and ghostscript.
>How-To-Repeat:
I tried to contact the maintainer of print/teTeX-texmf, but he rejected my email from yahoo.com as spam and then ignored my email from another domain.
>Fix:
I think the independent cmpsfont package still has it's value; preconfiguring type1 fonts for X and ghostscript is a good thing. The teTeX maintainer should have used the preexistent port.
