sw installed from ports 


>How-To-Repeat:
Install Apache: apache+mod_ssl-1.3.33+2.8.22
install php: mod_php4-4.3.10_2,1
install extension: php4-openssl-4.3.10_2

start apache: apachectl startssl (and it dies)

remove extension=openssl.so from /usr/local/etc/php/extensions.ini
and apache starts and php works without openssl
