>Description:
I am attempting to install apps using /usr/ports. Each time I run 'make' on either of my two machines, I encounter the following errors:
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 4850: Malformed conditional (defined(USE_RCORDER) || defined(USE_RC_SUBR) && ${USE_RC_SUBR:U} != "YES")
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 4860: Malformed conditional (defined(USE_RC_SUBR) && ${USE_RC_SUBR:U} != "YES")
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 4871: if-less endif
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 4871: Need an operator
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 5142: if-less endif
"/usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk", line 5142: Need an operator
make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
Specifically, I have consistently encountered this problem when trying to install a linux emulator, although it happens elsewhere in the /usr/ports tree
>How-To-Repeat:
cd /usr/ports/emulators/linux_base-suse-9.2
make
Those two steps, run as root, will create the error consistently.
