>Description:

There's a new minor version of clamav out. Updating the version number from clamav-0.86.1 to clamav-0.86.2 in the makefile and rebuilding the port builds cleanly for me. The clam daemon restarts OK. The freshclam daemon also seems OK. So far I'm having problems with the milter:

# /usr/local/etc/rc.d/clamav-milter.sh start
Starting clamav_milter.
/usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter: (-q && !LogSyslog): warning - all interception message methods are off
/usr/local/sbin/clamav-milter: --timeout must not be given if --external is not given

>How-To-Repeat:

increase the version number in /usr/ports/security/clamav/Makefile
 make makesum
 make install

>Fix:

None so far, but probably not hard

I suspect some different command line options might be required when starting up the milter
