>Description:

If I try to compile ruby-bdb with a Berkeley DB version 4.2 or 4.3, it does
not work, does not find the libdb needed.

>How-To-Repeat:

I have WITH_BDB_VER=43 in my make.conf, and no other BDB related variable
set. I think this is enough.

The Makefile for ruby-bdb sets LIB_SUFFIX with the wrong value, then.

IMHO, the Makefile should be teached on how to deal with this condition, since
this is how we tell other ports to use BDB42 or BDB43. I may be wrong, of
course. ;-)

>Fix:

The maintainer may have to choose between some options, and this could be
very personal. I'll not suggest anything.
