>Description:
When LCDd from lcdproc is started with the HD44780 driver (from the
config file or with -d HD44780 on the commandline) it immediately coredumps.
When started with maximum debugging (-r 5):

lewiz at projector ~ # LCDd -r 5 -d HD44780
LCDd version 0.4.5 starting
Built on Jan 18 2005, protocol version 0.3, API version 0.4
Set report level to 5, output to stderr
init_drivers()
load_driver(HD44780,,)
Bus error (core dumped)

I have not attached the coredump but will do if required.

None of this requires an HD44780-compatible LCD device as it
doesn't get as far as that stuff.
>How-To-Repeat:
Start LCDd with -d HD44780.
>Fix:
Unknown.
