There should be no problems with the KDE_Q_EXPORT_PLUGIN macro. 
According to Michael Nottebruck there hasn't been any problems with 
this macro in 4.x while building KDE HEAD/3_4_BRANCH. Gee it would be 
nice if we didn't have two active branches. I'll see about squeezing a 
4.11 install in here somewhere to test this out.
