 Michael,
 
 There's a PR for monotone that is prior to yours. I was unable to build
 your PR so I contacted the originator of the other PR. Unfortunately his
 port won't build either on my system. But he (Mark) is working on this
 issue and helping me fix this issue (something to do with boost rather
 than monotone as it seems).
 
 Mark recently submited a patch to upgrade his port to version 0.10.
 Unfortunately, most of our exchanges are not in the PR. I have told Mark
 about this and hopefully we will repost the relevant bits as follow-ups
 to his PR so you may keep track of the progress.
 
 IMHO, you should contact Mark so you may both unite your efforts and the
 port is commited sooner. I am getting quite a lot of headaches with TLA
 currently so I can't wait to switch over to monotone. ;)
