I'm inclined to agree with this. If ion-2 is considered the stable ion,
there's no reason to keep ion-1 around.

And besides, given the people who will prefer ion as their wm, if they
are insistent upon ion-1, they'll probably know how to pull it from
cvs/cvsup ;;)
