FreeBSD dima.nikts 4.9-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE #5: Sun Feb 8 15:57:18 EET 2004 dima at dima.nikts:/usr/src/sys/compile/myKern i386
>Description:
MPlayer fails to build on my PC with Pentium III. Error messages are saying about wrong registers,but it seems that problem is somehow connected with 3DNow optimization.
Building a port with WITHOUT_RUNTIME_CPUDETECTION=yes WITHOUT_3DNOW=yes WITHOUT_DSP=yes doesn't solve the problem
Building from source manually (without ports) is successfull.
>How-To-Repeat:
on PC with Pentium III do folowing:
su;
cd /usr/ports/multimedia/mplayer;
make WITHOUT_RUNTIME_CPUDETECTION=yes WITHOUT_3DNOW=yes WITHOUT_DSP=yes;
