>Organization:
Warsaw University of Technology
>Environment:
	System: FreeBSD thirst.corponet.era.pl 5.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT
	#16: Tue May 6 15:17:58 CEST 2003
	zaks at thirst.corponet.era.pl:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/THIRST i386
	XFree86-clients-4.3.0_1
>Description:
When I try to change encoding for my terminal, and it uses the external
program uit' for translation between encodings, I get this message every
	time I start the xterm:

"Warning: could not change ownership of tty -- pty is insecure!"
>How-To-Repeat:

Put following lines into X-resources database:
	XTerm*locale: ISO8859-2
>Fix:
Make xterm change the tty ownership itself, not pass it on luit, which
cannot do it as it runs with current user's UID.
