>Release:        FreeBSD 4.8-ALEXDUPRE i386
>Organization:
>Environment:
System: FreeBSD 4.8-ALEXDUPRE i386
>Description:
Switch to libtool 1.4.
Add WITHOUT_IPV6 knob (Requested by Jens Rehsack <rehsack at liwing.de> in
PR 53754, implemented in a slightly different way).
Add GIF and animated GIF write support by default in GD and add WITH_LZW knob
to enable the LZW compression algorithm (patented in some countries).

Removed gd_gif_out.diff patch and added many new patches.

++ * reasonably sane LZW decompresser will decompress to what we want.
++ *
++ * miGIF compression uses run length encoding. It compresses horizontal runs
++ * of pixels of the same color. This type of compression gives good results
++ * on images with many runs, for example images with lines, text and solid
++ * shapes on a solid-colored background. It gives little or no compression
++ * on images with few runs, for example digital or scanned photos.
