I committed something to lang/gauche a couple of days ago, so I just
looked into it to see if I'd broken something. The Makefile states that
PORTVERSION between lang/gauche and databases/gauche-gdbm should be kept
in sync. lang/gauche is at 0.7, which databases/gauche also is after
applying this patch. Looking from your error, you did not apply the
patch as it still is at 0.6.8 ? After the patch it builds fine for me,
but doesn't install in a clean 4.8 jail:
