 Can you give me a link to more direct information?  I can't find =
 *anything* in the ports or ports-bugs archives about this problem; maybe =
 I just still don't know what keywords to try searching for.  I've tried =
 "make install FORCE_PKG_REGISTER=3D1", and get either the exact same =
 error as before, or tons of errors when various things turn up missing.  =
 This is no fun at all.
