The fonts.alias target is listed in the files/Makefile.bdf2pcf and the
all target depends on it. The port is unchanged since 2003 -- must be a
change (a regression?) in the HEAD's make(1), that's to blame for the
failure...

Or is it because bmake is now used in HEAD? Yours,
