Basically this means we should treat your updates as maintainer-updates
and you can give approval for prs relating to these ports even though
MAINTAINER=perl at fbsd.org in the Makefiles.

Edwin, would you mind adding a line in gnats-aa to set maintainer-update
for prs from Alexandr.  Lets start with these 2 ports and expand as 
needed later.
