dear sirs (afaik, dear martin),
i'm one of massimiliano stucchi's friends.
i upgraded my workstation from freebsd 5.1p10 to 5.2-beta and i noticed 
my previous package of openoffice 1.1 didn't work anymore.
so i made another package and it works fine.
you can download it from
www.willystudios.com/openoffice
feel free to include it in your http://projects.imp.ch/openoffice/ page, 
if you like it. formerly, i sent you (through massimiliano) the english 
and the italian version for openoffice 1.1 (freebsd-stable).

the package was built with ttf_bytecode enabled and support for gif images.
