LO doesn't configure for me with all options disabled:

clang: warning: argument unused during compilation: '-rpath=/usr/lib:/usr/local/lib'
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb-4.2
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
configure:23312: $? = 1

Adding standard LDFLAGS fixes it.
