Win modem x FreeBSd

Hi, 
I am from Brazil and i have an ECS DESKNOTE 
In the computer i have FreeBSD 5.0 
But My winmodem does not work. 
I use a LinuxDriver with sucess. 
Ít's possible to use the same driver in FreeBSD?
