Update: Today I tried to revert to if_em from releng/12.0 updated to latest.
Result: The performance is still abysmal.

I'll switch to net/intel-em-kmod again.

This is with FreeBSD mizar.xyzzy 12.0-RELEASE-p9 FreeBSD 12.0-RELEASE-p9 #9
