FreeBSD 4.9 - NIS Authentication Problem (SSHD Illegal User ERROR)

Have you added special records to /etc/group and /etc/master.passwd files?
It should be +::: in  /etc/group  and +:::::::::  in /etc/master.passwd.
Use vipw to edit password file.
