I was wondering if you could edit the page just slightly.

Recently Ka Ho Ng wrote a patch for cubeb, which is the sound library
Firefox is using, to natively use OSS on freebsd, so sndio is not
needed.

Also, to use virtual_oss, you can edit /etc/rc.conf.d/virtual_oss (my
preferred way). Here is mine:

virtual_oss_enable="YES"
virtual_oss_dsp="-T /dev/sndstat -S -i 8 -C 18 -c 18 -r 48000 -b 32 -s 512 -f /dev/dsp0 -c 2 -d dsp -c 18 -d vdsp -t vdsp.ctl"
