Instructions for building without ports, assuming you do what "pkg info -D
jackit" says:

env CFLAGS=-fPIC python waf
sudo env CFLAGS=-fPIC python waf install
# I'm not glad to admit I have /usr/bin/python3 symlink to
/usr/local/bin/python3


Instructions for making sure new binary is loaded and used:
jack_control exit
jack_control start
less ~/.log/jack/jackdbus.log
