I think it's ready for the wider FreeBSD audience, it has been at least as
robust for me as jack1 ever was. The missing rc.d service could be a regression
though for some users, maybe we should provide one. I will try your new port
tomorrow, but I have no expertise in portscraft.

The strategy for non-2^N buffer sizes may need some refinement in high speed /
low latency situations, but for now it works pretty well in my tests.

Regarding upstream, we first have to resolve the ioctl order issue (see comment
#58), and revise what should be #ifdef'ed specific to FreeBSD.
