Convert MP3 audio to sheet music (score)

When I play the MP3 with

$ mplayer -ss 2:12 -endpos 2:40 CD_07/Track11.mp3

the sound comes out via /dev/dsp1.1 to speaker or headphone (if this is
plugged in). Is there some trick to feed the sound directly into qaudiosonar?
