unfortunatly, yes. you are not the first to encouter these problems.
hopefully, these problems will go away when everybody is on 7.

did you check the output of the patch-proces? did it reverse some
chunks? i think so.

would you be so kind to refresh your kernel-source, repatch and log
and save the output of the patch?
