I've Google'd around a bit and it seems that I should install
6.2-RELEASE and update the modules from
http://people.freebsd.org/~ariff/BINARY_MODULES/sndkld_releng6_i386_lowlatency.tar.gz (2007-Apr-26 14:54:40)
