ATI Mobility FireGL V5200

Hello,

Are there any plans to add support for ATI Mobility FireGL V5200?

 From what I found searching the web this seems to be Chipset: ATI M56 - 
Similar to Radeon X1600.

I'm currently able to start X with VESA driver, but cannot use 
widescreen resolution - 1680x1050.
Nearest that is supported by vesa is 1400x1050 :(

I tried to "convince" the driver with ModeLine (in xorg.conf) to use 
1680x1050, but still no success. Any tips ?
