With the http://tomoyo.mybsd.org.my/HDA/ files I can play sound flawessly.

Mixer vol      is currently set to  75:75
Mixer pcm      is currently set to  75:75
Mixer line     is currently set to  75:75
Mixer mic      is currently set to   0:0
Mixer rec      is currently set to   0:0
Recording source: mic

I fetched the latest sources from http://people.freebsd.org/~ariff/HDA/,
compiled, loaded but I can't hear anything by any means.

Mixer vol      is currently set to 100:100
Mixer pcm      is currently set to 100:100
Recording source: mic
