at least PCI version of DViCO Fusion HDTV cards uses Conexant chip, so maybe
big part of bktr driver can be reused, so i think there are three types of
DVB-S/-C/-T PCI cards:

1) based on Conexant chip like cards from Twinhan and DViCO, because of the
bktr driver, maybe it will be most likely to be supported

2) Technisat cards based on B2C2 Flexcop II chip, widely used, but no public
datasheet for Flexcop chip and without datasheet most likely not to be
supported

3) based on Philips SAA7146A, many, many cards from maybe all other
manufacturers like Hauppauge, Technotrend, KNC1, Terratec, Fujitsu-Siemens

and also very new DVB-S2 cards (DVB-S2 is used in Europe mainly for
broadcasting HDTV in H.264) are based on Philips SAA7146A.

so looks like 3), because so many cards are using Philips SAA7146A and 1),
because of bktr driver, are most important.
