5.3-BETA3: snd_ich AC3 passthrough?

Hi all,

I've been digging around through mailing lists and Google, and I can't
find an answer to this, so I'm posting here.

I have an MSI Hermes 651 box with the onboard SIS 7012 sound chipset
(snd_ich supported) but I want to use the optical out on this card. 
It does work in Linux and Windows, but I can't figure out how to
enable it in FreeBSD.  Is this possible on this card?
