Unable to get my Sony F828 to work with BSD....

I am not using a memory stick.  I wonder if that has anything to do with
it?  I am using a compact flash card, 256MB.  I have never checked the
filesystem on the card, however, I have no problems on XP machines,
which is how I had to get my last bach of photos off of the camera.
