Hi,

It looks like my old reliable 16 bit Netgear wireless
card is dying :

Jan 4 23:01:47 himinbjorg dhclient: Listening on BPF/wi0/00:09:5b:3a:65:e0
Jan 4 23:01:47 himinbjorg dhclient: Sending on BPF/wi0/00:09:5b:3a:65:e0
Jan 4 23:01:47 himinbjorg dhclient: Sending on Socket/fallback

Jan 4 23:01:57 himinbjorg kernel: wi0: timeout in wi_cmd 0x0000; event status 0x8008
Jan 4 23:01:57 himinbjorg kernel: wi0: wi_cmd: busy bit won't clear.
Jan 4 23:01:57 himinbjorg kernel: wi0: init failed
Jan 4 23:01:57 himinbjorg kernel: wi0: failed to allocate 2372 bytes on NIC
Jan 4 23:01:57 himinbjorg kernel: wi0: tx buffer allocation failed (error 12)
Jan 4 23:01:57 himinbjorg kernel: wi0: interface not running

so I need to find a replacement. The system can only go as
far as FreeBSD 5.5, anything past and it isn't happy.

Is there some way to get an easily available PCMCIA card (I'll
do something USB if its reliable enough) for 5.5?

		Thanks, Tuc
