	Hi!
I"ve a problem at the first step of installation FreeBSD 6.1 on my "Acer
Aspire 1670".
I install FreeBSD 6.1 from CD set(CD1:FreeBSD_Install and
CD2:FreeBSD_Packages)
I insert CD1,make first boot device CDrom in BIOS,and reboot.
Then I can see:
_______________________________________________________________________________
  CD Loader 1.2

  Building the boot loader arguments
  Looking up /BOOT/LOADER...Found
  Relocating the loader and theBTX
  Starting the BTX loader

BTX loader 1.00 BTX version is 1.01
  Consoles: internal video/keyboard
  BIOS CD is cd0
  BIOS drive C: is disk0

screen was:
 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to FreeBSD!
 1.Boot FreeBSD[default]
 2.Boot FreeBSD with ACPI disabled
 3.Boot FreeBSD in Safemode
4.Boot FreeBSD in single user mode
 5.Boot FreeBSD with verbose logging
 6.Escape to loader promt
 7.Reboot

 Select option,[Enter] for default
or [Space] to pause timer 10
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I chose 1. and saw next:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
/boot/kernel/acpi.ko text=0x42ed4/ data=0x2280+0x10f0
syms=[0x4+0x7ad0+0x4+0xa709]
/

That's all, installation process was terminated.
I tried 2.,3.,4.,5.,6. items and had the same result.I too tried
,choosing 6.,to do next :
unset acpi_load[Enter]; boot [Enter].And it was in vain.
Please!Help if you can fix the problem. Shamil. mailto:suira at rambler.ru
