Thanks for the explanation, I remember I had lots of problems trying to
build ekiga on 6.1-RC, however, now I'm running 6.1-RELEASE-p1 and just
tried to build ekiga (2.0.1) from a fresh updated ports, that worked :)

I think I will wait for 2.0.2 to be in ports to update it. But thanks
