As sted in another mail, with
- acpi disabled
- apic disabled
- irq18 forced

it doesn't work (ie bge0 fails to attach). dmesg output attached.
I also tried with
- apic disabled
- irq18 forced
but that didn't work either (probably obvious). I have the dmesg output
for that as well, in case anyone is interested.
