APM/Resume Problem

Hi,

After upgrading my Toshiba 7000CT from 4.11 to 5.3 (and subsequently to
5.4-PRERELEASE) I've been having problems with resuming after suspending
it. Basically, it 'locks up' when resuming with the external
(proprietary) floppy drive detached, and seems to resume properly when the
floppy is attached. Removing the floppy drive from the kernel doesn't seem
to help, nor does removing the references to the floppy from the
/boot/device.hints file.

Any suggestions?
