wi0: timeout in wi_cmd 0x0000

I have the same issue on a dell ls with a orinoco gold card..
same error. Scanning for a dhcp server it totally locks up.
Haven't tried a static ip yet.. Haven't found a fix yet...
anyone else? I'd like to get it working.
