Yeah, if I had the switch state to S3, then it will suspend and
the LCD doesn't turn off. I don't use X so it's text console. But when
resumed, the screen has the same screen as what it had before the suspend
and it's not live.

Never seen that one before. Mines goes like this:

Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: fwohci0: fwohci_pci_suspend
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: fwohci0: fwohci_pci_resume: power_state =
0x0000
0000
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: fwohci0: Phy 1394a available S400, 1
ports.
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: fwohci0: Link S400, max_rec 2048 bytes.
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: fwohci0: Initiate bus reset
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: wakeup from sleeping state (slept
00:00:26)
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: ata0: resetting devices ..
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: fwohci0: node_id=0xc000ffc0, gen=1,
CYCLEMASTER
mode
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: firewire0: 1 nodes, maxhop <= 0, cable IRM
= 0 (
me)
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: firewire0: bus manager 0 (me)
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: done
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: ata1: resetting devices ..
Jun 24 19:22:10 bigbang kernel: done

Oh okay... Thought someone used that utility since with Windows, I
do use the utility... I gave 3 Inspiron 8200s...
