Wanted to post my custom configs for my Laptop to the list for archive
purposes. If anyone has suggestions on how to improve this config, that
would be great! I'm better at compiling info than hacking scripts, so
any help is appreciated.

Loading Freebsd on a Compaq N6x0c (Aug 6, 2003)
0. First thing that must be done is update the BIOS to the latest version. This fixes the APCI issues that you will encounter.
1. Install FreeBSD 5.1 using "Standard Install"
2. Add the following lines to /boot/loader.conf (attachment 1).
3. Change the following line in /boot/device.hints (attachment 2).
4. Install src code and cvsup so you can create a custom kernel.
5. Create a custom kernel config. I have collected and created a kernel that should cover a typical install (attachment 3).
6. XFree86 - follow instructions in handbook at www.freebsd.org, using "XFree86 -configure" option. Then add the following line to your "XF86Config" file (attachment 4).
7. Wireless script for Cisco Aironet 350 (attachment 5).
