We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join a new team
working on highly visible project in the Sunnyvale, CA site.
 
Responsibilities:
* Control software development for Layer-2 Ethernet switching platform.
* Working experience in embedded software development for data networking
  equipment through design, implementation and test phases.
* Interface with the data plane team for design and integration activities.
* Manage multiple activities for both short-term and long-term goals.
* Monitor and participate in the Metro Ethernet standards activity.

Experience: 
* Expertise in developing 802.x based Ethernet Switching protocols.
* Experience in developing solutions for Carrier Grade networking equipment.
* Experience in developing control software for Metro-Ethernet solution. 
* Expertise in C++/C programming languages.
* Skilled in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
* 5+ years of industry experience
* Real-Time Operating System (preferably OSE) experience is desirable
* Familiarity with IP-Routing, MPLS, SONET, DWDM is desirable
* Manage multiple activities for both short-term and long-term goals.
