Array Networks is a startup company in Campbell, CA specializing in

in hearing from you. Here are the specific job requirements:

Senior Software Engineer/Architect (SSL/C/UNIX)
-----------------------------------------------

You will be responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation
of high-performance network security software products. You will be an
integral part of the Array engineering team and will participate in all
aspects of software development. Expect to work in a fast-paced startup
environment.

This is a full-time/permanent position. Candidates based in the local
area (Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area) are preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

* Participate actively in team and company wide architecture discussions

* Employ technical expertise in helping team members solve technical problems

* Use your expertise on FreeBSD internals

Job Requirements:

* Expert C/FreeBSD programming skills with a track record of developing
fast-path software on the FreeBSD kernel or on commercial-grade
  network/security products

* Top-notch software design, creative problem solving, and debugging skills

* Expertise in SSL protocol development, including connection handling,
  performance optimization, and PKI

* In-depth knowledge of BSD kernels and system internals

* A self starter - highly motivated, able to contribute and acquire new
  technical skills with minimal guidance

* Protocol-level development experience with L4-L7 network protocols
(TCP, HTTP, etc) is highly desired

* Experience with integration of SSL acceleration hardware is a plus
(Note: this is not a hardware design position)

* Good verbal and written communication skills

Compensation is competitive salary, benefits, and stock options,
commensurate with skills and accomplishments.
