Looks like the port was updated 2 days ago, just ran a fresh portsnap to make sure I was totally up to date … even logged into ftp.freebsd.org, there is a 7u2, 7u4 and 7u6 dist file, but nothing close to 7u40 … I did find it at:

https://jdk7.java.net/source.html

Just in case anyoen else is having similar issues …
