Is it necessary for me to use bash as in

Content-Disposition: inline; filename=build-java

#!/usr/bin/env bash

set -x

export MAKE_VERBOSE=t


I should have sent this to the mailing list at the beginning.
The reasons why i am asking are:
This environment is new for me.
I want to make sure that I follow things correctly.
