Hi :)
It is usually considered polite to send the email to the mailing list than
privately, unless the issue at hand requires the privacy.

There are a many very knowledgable people in the list - emailing privately
bypasses their eyes and minds being cast upon your problem ;)

I have not used the sun-wtk before...but the 'ELF... OS ABI invalid' seems to
imply that you have a binary for another OS  - linux I would guess?

- try to get a freebsd binary of the sun-wtk (sun's site? ports? )

- install instead the linux java VM , as well as linux compatibility and try
that way. this *should* make it work. the one I use for linux-firefox is
linux-blackdown-jdk-1.4.2 , which you can find in the ports.
