They went in before we adopted that policy.  IMO the java top level
category is bogus and should just go away.  One day Herve and I are
just going to move everything except the JDKs out.

Anyway, from the categorisation section of the Porter's Handbook:

"The java category shall not be the only one for a port. Save for ports
directly related to the Java language, porters are also encouraged not to
use java as the main category of a port."

So please don't make 'java' the main category.
