jdk14 speed vs. windows/java?

Well, I do have some indication. Our build process takes on my machine ~ 6 
minutes. On a Windows 2000 machine it takes about 2 minutes and on Redhat 
Linux less than 40 seconds. But they're different machines, so it's not 
really a fair comparison...
