Viable Freebsd Network Access Server projects....?

Sorry list.  I was wondering why I did not get any responses.  The
omition of an appropriate subject was a mistake.  Please, no corrective

As stated, below, I am trying to find information on possible ways to
build a dialup access server with multi-modem cards, and possibly a
passive backplane setup, running FreeBSD.

Any information would be much appreciated.
